FRAC Poitou-Charentes

Public collection of contemporary art offering 2 to 3 temporary exhibitions per year.
Museum located on the banks of the Charente, 20 minutes walk from the city center of Angoulême.

From its collection of works, the FRAC Poitou-Charentes offers exhibitions of contemporary art in its premises in Angoulême and Linazay, in schools, museums and media libraries in the Region thanks to partnership projects, as well as in national and international places by lending works from its collection. Visit guides for adults and game booklets for children are available to facilitate understanding of the works.
In its exhibitions, the FRAC Poitou-Charentes gives you an appointment for: guided tours, artistic practice workshops for children and families, meetings with artists, concerts, conferences, performances...
Please note that the FRAC is only open during temporary exhibition periods (available on the FRAC website).

Open the 1st Sunday of each month (guided tour at 16 p.m.).

Opening

All year round, every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 14 a.m. to 18 p.m.
Exceptional closings on January 1, Easter Monday, Ascension Thursday, Pentecost Monday, May 1, May 8, July 14, August 15, November 1, November 11 and December 25.
