500th anniversary of Verrazano's discovery of the site where the City of New York stands today.

Throughout this exhibition, come and explore the lighting in
1950s story of navigator Giovanni Verrazano
sent by Francis I in search of a faster route to the route to India.

His journey did not allow him to achieve his objective, but
traveling up the coasts of North America, he fell under the spell of an unknown land which he named Land of Angoulême in homage to the king of France, last count of Angoulême.
