Set off to discover the natural riches of your regions!
As part of the Nature Festival, which takes place in May each year, the City of Angoulême offers several activities.

In the programme :

Tuesday May 21 from 17:30 p.m. to 19 p.m.: Visit to the city's greenhouses. Discovering the practices of the City of Angoulême.

Thursday May 23 from 17 p.m. to 19 p.m.: Wild plant reconnaissance walk with Les Compagnons du Végétal.

Take part in a stroll through the lush and diverse worlds of Île Marquet and Île aux Vaches in Angoulême. We will learn to recognize local wild plants and share information ranging from botany, picking but also the bio-indication of plants, including their culinary and medicinal uses.

Saturday May 25 from 16:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.: Ethnobotanical walk with Les Jardins d’ISIS. Come discover trees, shrubs and small plants and appreciate their virtues, their uses and their stories, intimately linked to ours. The walk ends with an aperitif and digestive tasting.
Free and ideal activities to allow all audiences to experience nature in contact with it.
