How can we raise awareness among our children about climate challenges?
“Choose life, real life”
With Philippe Nicolas and broadcast of the film Changement de cap

Philippe Nicolas is a researcher within the National Education Department.
It offers a vision of the school by answering two major questions:
What does it mean to be a human being? Can we think of humanity without nature?
Make sure that something happens between the child and nature so that the child becomes an adult and feels in charge of life.
The Cap au Nord association is piloting an educational project on the fight against climate change, one of the major challenges of the 21st century.

Researchers, scientists and teachers have built a program of reflection, experimentation and transmission of knowledge around the melting of the Arctic and Antarctic ice sheets.

As a highlight, an expedition with 17 child ambassadors and a film about this incredible adventure

The project is aimed at schoolchildren, middle school students and high school students in France and Europe, with the partnership of their territory and polar researchers from APECS France. Everything is in line with National Education programs, from September to July.

modules in ethnology, meteorology, glaciology, anthropology, volcanology, adventure stories...

A “nature, discovery and engagement” school in parallel with their school year with scientific and physical lessons, such as glaciology, oceanography, marine biology and volcanology. Video lessons...

This association aims to:

The confrontation of school for the major contemporary questions.
The promotion of project teaching at school.
the school's connection with nature and the environment.
The School which promotes the dimension of action and authorship in the student's learning.

All generations are affected, but raising awareness among children is essential so that they in turn become future agents of change.

This is precisely the objective pursued by the CAP project in the NORTH…
