Espace Franquin, 16000 Angouleme
The exhibition brings together plans, engravings and works presenting Angoulême at the time of François I.
By the archaeological and historical society of Charente.
Visitors will be able to discover maps of the city in the 16th century, the various convents, the Château d'Angoulême, its cathedral as well as a description of the tomb of the Valois. Illustrious people of the time will also be represented, such as the Saint-Gelais family or the writer-explorer André Thevet.
