This exhibition aims to make you discover a historical universe where water, paper, industries and graphic design dominate.

Texts, images, objects and films are all ways to help you understand the activities developed in Angoumois.
In the different rooms, the circulation of water recalls the use of hydraulic energy and this gives them a certain atmosphere that the scenography highlights.

Five themes make up the course:
- the Charente river and its different functions
- the main aspects of stationery
- the many industries of the Charente department
- the history of the site over the centuries
- the Valley of Images in Angoulême and the training schools

This exhibition is located in the rooms on the ground floor of the museum.
